Pocket Chats - Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 June 2026

Pocket Chats is a tool for businesses to manage the WhatsApp conversations their customers have with them. This policy explains what information the app handles and how. It applies to the Pocket Chats iOS app and the service behind it.

Who we are

Pocket Chats is operated by HandCode ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact us at mzeb.khan@gmail.com.

Information we handle

How we use it

What we do not do

We do not sell your data or your customers' data to anyone. We do not use it for advertising. Conversation data is only shown to the business that owns the WhatsApp number, scoped to the account you sign in with.

Sharing

We use trusted service providers to run the app, including cloud hosting and database (Vercel, Supabase), WhatsApp message delivery (Twilio / Meta WhatsApp), email delivery (Resend), push notifications (Apple), and AI processing (Anthropic). They process data only to provide their service to us and under their own security and privacy commitments.

Retention

We keep conversation history to provide the service. You can request deletion of a conversation in the app, or contact us to close an account and delete its data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing mzeb.khan@gmail.com. You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings.

Children

Pocket Chats is a business tool and is not intended for children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
